David McGowan - DONT CONFUSE US WITH THE LIBERALS

SAVE THE RAH AND LIBERAL PARTY POLICY IS NOT.THE SAME
“Voters must not be misled by Mr Rann’s onslaught against the Liberal Party’s RAH Rebuild policy” Save the RAH Candidate David McGowan said today
“Save the RAH stands for the prudent finishing of the redevelopment project, fully costed and approved by this Government in 2001 to provide world class facilities and left half finished when Minister Hill stopped it in 2007 in favour of Rann Railyards monument
“The Government’s Spin Doctors are working very hard to destroy the Liberal Party’s RAH policy, and they are landing a few blows. Simply because the Liberals agree with Save the RAH in broad principle does not mean that our policies are exactly the same, they are not.” he said.
“The Liberal Party agrees with Save the RAH that the RAH should be rebuilt on site. “
“ Mike Rann’s spin doctors have concentrated their attack on an independent proposal put to the Liberal’s and claim that they have found flaws in that policy. Whether there is truth in that or not is for others to judge.”

“he Save the RAH party considers there is reason to take those plans and update them to remedy the fact that there is a 3 year gap of doing nothing and medical technology and demands have moved on.
“Voters should not be deceived by the Government claim that a new hospital will not need constant upgrading from day one. (The first alterations to the existing redevelopment were undertaken when the requirements of the bird flu precautions were imposed. while the Minister was on the other side of the wall presiding at the opening ceremony .)
Voters should not be deceived by the implication from the Spin Doctors that all plans except their plan are the same.
The Railyards monument is a mistake. And everyone knows it except Messrs Rann Foley and Hill
